The 30th Best Album of 2025
We are just flying through the list now phew, last year's finish time of approximately June 30th stands no chance to this raging fire. Without further ado #30 is Pirouette by Model/Actriz.
I got surprisingly into Model/Actriz 2023 album Dogsbody. I've never really been an industrial rock guy. Sure Nine Inch Nails has some bangers, but outside that? Meh, no thanks. But Dogsbody was different, and I think Pirouette improves on the formula. Now, does it improve by emphasizing the dance-punk a bit more than Dogsbody does? Yes. Does that basically invalidate what I said about industrial rock? Shut up dude stop being an idiot.
But it is an infectious mix of punk and industrial rock that I dont know ive heard elsewhere in the past 3 years. Its fkn dope as hell and I should probably listen to it more. You should too.
